The QR CODE Art Addition: How it Works

  1. The message is recorded by you on our vintage telephones. Choose any package, speak by yourself, or invite your family to join in! ($95 per extra person).

2. If you opt for an artwork with your recording, our founder and Artist, Emily, listens to your recording and creates a personalised artwork using an excerpt of your audio: a wedding memory, the childhood house you grew up in, or something you specifically tell us you would like drawn.

3. A removable QR sticker code, that links back to your online audio portal, is added to your artwork keepsake and ready to be treasured.

Your recordings are carefully edited and prepared into an audio keepsake, with the amount of editing determined by your chosen experience.

Your finished recordings are delivered through a private Memory Line online audio portal, with an optional USB available.

Recording with family?

Every experience can be shared by one person, a couple or several generations. Family members are welcome to take turns recording at no additional package cost.

  • They are for anyone with a story worth preserving—not only those approaching the end of life. Sessions may celebrate a parent or grandparent, document a family history, commemorate a milestone, or preserve the voice of someone experiencing illness, ageing or significant life change.

  • That is completely natural. Gentle questions and thoughtfully designed prompts help the conversation unfold comfortably, with no scripts, speeches or preparation required. The experience is relaxed, personal and shaped around the individual—there is no pressure to discuss anything they would prefer to keep private.

  • Sessions can be conducted in the comfort of the person’s home, aged-care or retirement residence, or another suitable quiet location. Recording can also be adapted around mobility, health, energy levels and the need for rest breaks.

  • Wherever possible, priority is given to families facing palliative care, serious illness or other time-sensitive circumstances. Please make contact as soon as you can, and every effort will be made to arrange a session compassionately and promptly.

  • The audio is carefully edited and delivered as a private digital keepsake that can be shared with chosen family members. Families may also choose a bespoke Listening Portrait—an original artwork inspired by the recording, with the option of a discreet QR code connecting future generations to the voice behind it.
